The Vascular Access Society is a multidisciplinary Society where nephrologists, surgeons, interventional radiologists, dialysis nurses and vascular and radiological technologists are involved. The main objective of the Society is to keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in vascular access for hemodialysis. Undoubtedly, vascular access is the lifeline for many patients with acute renal failure or end-stage renal disease because their only option to move forward is to allow good access to the blood stream in order to benefit from hemodialysis.

Event's aim is that all participants should feel at ease in this Congress. The latest technological advances will play a decisive role in the congress so that sessions are as interactive as possible and promote an agile exchange of scientific knowledge.

The congress will take place at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona (FIRA Montjuic), very close to Palau of Montjuic and Plaça d’Espanya. The Congress venue is very well connected to the rest of the city by public transport and only a few minutes from the “heart” of Barcelona, the “Plaça de Catalunya”.
